Our 2026 summer student positions are currently full.
We are dedicated to supporting the ongoing professional development of our summer law students. In your first week at the firm, you will take part in an orientation that includes technical and systems training, along with file management, docketing, client communication, court procedures, and legal research and writing. You will also be introduced to your mentors, including both a junior and a senior lawyer, who will be available throughout your summer experience to provide guidance on practice-related matters.
At Beckett, student work is thoughtfully and fairly assigned to ensure meaningful exposure to a wide range of practice areas and working styles. Students are encouraged to actively seek opportunities to observe our lawyers in practice, including attending motions, mediations, discoveries, client meetings, and closings. In addition to firm-hosted summer programming, each student is paired with both a senior and a junior mentor to support their professional development and integration into the firm.
Beckett is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining an inclusive and barrier-free recruitment process.
Beckett’s summer law student program runs for 12 weeks, from late May to mid-August, and typically includes one to two students.
